Petrol prices in the UAE could see an increase for November, with the Fuel Price Committee set to announce revised rates this Thursday. For October, prices were adjusted downward for the second consecutive month, with Super 98, Special 95, and E-Plus 91 priced at Dh2.66, Dh2.54, and Dh2.47 per litre, respectively.
Residents and businesses, particularly in logistics and transport, are keenly awaiting the adjustments, which occur monthly to align with global oil prices as part of a deregulation policy initiated in 2015. In October, Brent crude averaged around $75.5 per barrel, influenced by geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, with fluctuations between $71 and nearly $81.
Market analyst Alex Kuptsikevich noted a significant drop in crude oil prices recently, falling six percent to $67 per barrel for WTI and $71 for Brent, as concerns about escalated conflict in the region eased. This decrease is reflected in the overall stabilization of prices following a volatile period influenced by international events.
