Eccentric Services Ltd has strengthened its campaign for financial literacy by encouraging Nigerians to adopt smart financial habits and explore wealth creation opportunities through regulated capital market investments.
The company said it remains dedicated to helping citizens understand the importance of financial planning, investment diversification, and wealth preservation as economic challenges continue to affect households and businesses nationwide.
Speaking during a press interaction, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the organisation, James Efe, stated that millions of Nigerians continue to struggle financially because they lack access to practical investment education and wealth management knowledge.
According to him, overdependence on salaries and unstable businesses has made many citizens vulnerable to inflation and economic uncertainty.
Efe revealed that his experiences while running a poultry business inspired his decision to focus on investment education and financial empowerment.
He explained that increasing feed prices, rising operational expenses, and declining purchasing power created major challenges for small-scale business operators.
According to him, although the poultry business generated sales, operational expenses consumed most of the profits and reduced opportunities for expansion.
During the same period, however, his investments in treasury bills and equities produced stronger and more stable returns, encouraging him to study financial markets more seriously.
“That experience showed me that financial markets can provide smarter and more sustainable opportunities for wealth creation,” he said.
Efe, who has professional experience in Nigerian and United States financial markets, disclosed that he is currently undergoing advanced studies in Wealth Management at the New York Institute of Finance.
He explained that the company was established to bridge the financial literacy gap and provide Nigerians with practical knowledge on strategic investing.
The company currently offers services including stock market education, liquidity planning, dividend recovery, brokerage account setup, swing trading, share recovery, and strategic asset allocation for clients.
According to Efe, proper financial planning allows investors to reduce exposure to risks while improving long-term financial returns.
He stressed that many Nigerians still leave large sums of money idle in low-interest savings accounts despite inflation steadily reducing purchasing power.
The CEO identified poor financial literacy and distrust caused by fraudulent schemes as major barriers preventing Nigerians from exploring legitimate investment opportunities.
Despite these concerns, he maintained that regulated investment products remain reliable channels for sustainable wealth creation when investors receive proper guidance and education.
Efe encouraged Nigerians to become more intentional about savings and investments in order to achieve financial security and future stability.
Since beginning operations in 2024, Eccentric Services Ltd disclosed that it has trained more than 1,000 investors across Nigeria and among Nigerians in the diaspora community.
The company added that it currently manages a network of more than 500 active investors interested in financial growth and wealth creation.
It also revealed that the organisation has successfully facilitated over 50 dividend recovery and share recovery cases for clients.
Efe emphasized that financial education remains a major tool for economic empowerment and national development.
According to him, wealth creation requires strategic planning, patience, discipline, and informed financial decisions.
The company reiterated its commitment to improving financial literacy, promoting regulated investment opportunities, and helping Nigerians build sustainable wealth through informed participation in the capital market.
