SHARJAH, UAE — Passengers can now book Etihad Rail services from Al Dhaid Station in Sharjah, with fares starting at Dh19 and direct connections to Fujairah and Abu Dhabi.
The station has been added to Etihad Rail’s booking platform for journeys beginning September 30, giving residents in Sharjah’s central region access to passenger rail services across the UAE.
Booking information shows two daily services in each direction between Al Dhaid and Fujairah, while two daily trains also operate between Al Dhaid and Abu Dhabi.
Al Dhaid-Fujairah journey takes 25 minutes
The rail connection between Al Dhaid and Fujairah takes approximately 25 minutes.
The available services include:
- Al Dhaid to Fujairah: 9:41am to 10:06am, with Comfort fares from Dh19 and Premium fares from Dh49.
- Al Dhaid to Fujairah: 7:51pm to 8:16pm, with Comfort fares from Dh24 and Premium fares from Dh79.
- Fujairah to Al Dhaid: 6:05am to 6:30am, with Comfort fares from Dh19 and Premium fares from Dh49.
- Fujairah to Al Dhaid: 5:17pm to 5:42pm, with Comfort fares from Dh19 and Premium fares from Dh79.
Services to Abu Dhabi
Passengers travelling from Al Dhaid to Abu Dhabi can complete the journey in about one hour and 24 minutes.
The schedule currently lists:
- Al Dhaid to Abu Dhabi: 6:32am to 7:56am, with Comfort fares from Dh69 and Premium fares from Dh149.
- Al Dhaid to Abu Dhabi: 5:44pm to 7:08pm, with Comfort fares from Dh59 and Premium fares from Dh179.
- Abu Dhabi to Al Dhaid: 8:15am to 9:39am, with Comfort fares from Dh59 and Premium fares from Dh179.
- Abu Dhabi to Al Dhaid: 6:25pm to 7:49pm, with Comfort fares from Dh69 and Premium fares from Dh179.
The booking platform does not currently show an available Al Dhaid-Dubai service for September
