Ahmed Hatem Al Menhali, UAE Ambassador to Mexico, and Victor Villalobos Arambula, Mexico’s Secretary of Agriculture and Rural Development, were present at the Embassy’s headquarters in the capital for the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation.
The agreement, signed between the Khalifa International Award for Date Palm and Agricultural Innovation and the Mexican Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, strengthens the collaboration between the two countries. It paves the way for the organization of the Second International Date Palm Festival in Mexico scheduled for November.
The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Abdul Wahab Zayed, Secretary General of the Khalifa International Award, and Santiago Arguelo Campos, General Coordinator of the Mexican Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
