The Institutional Performance Department of the Sharjah Social Services Department, in collaboration with the Sharjah Foundation for the Holy Quran and Sunnah of the Prophet, is hosting the Holy Quran Competition for its members for the fourth consecutive year. The competition is inclusive, targeting various groups such as the elderly, individuals with disabilities, abused women, and children.
The primary objective of the competition is to motivate participants across all categories to continue their memorization of the Holy Qur’an and engage in friendly competition, recognizing the profound benefits it offers in both worldly and spiritual aspects.
Dr. Maryam Al Kindi, Director of the Department’s Excellence Office, revealed the completion of the initial qualifying stage. The announcement of the competition winners is scheduled for the upcoming week.
Distinguished judges from the Holy Qur’an and Sunnah Foundation form the evaluation committee for the competition, ensuring fairness and expertise in assessing the participants’ recitation and memorization skills.
