Dubai’s Global Village Opens for 29th Season with Exciting New Features

Dubai, UAE – October 16, 2024 – Dubai’s Global Village has officially opened its gates for the 29th season, running until May 11, 2025. This popular outdoor attraction features 30 pavilions representing over 90 cultures, with three new additions this year: Jordan, Iraq, and a combined pavilion for Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

Visitors can expect an immersive experience with more than 3,500 shopping outlets, 250 dining options, and an impressive lineup of over 40,000 shows and 200 rides, games, and attractions.

Ticket Information

Tickets for the season are available for purchase online, via the official Global Village website and mobile app, or at the entrance. The pricing structure is as follows:

  • Weekday Tickets (valid Sunday to Thursday, excluding public holidays): Dh25
  • Any-Day Tickets: Dh30
  • Free Entry: Children aged 3 and under, seniors over 65, and people of determination.

This year’s prices reflect a slight increase compared to last season, where online weekday tickets were available for Dh22.50 and any-day passes for Dh27.

Exclusive VIP ticket packages are also on offer:

  • Mega Gold Pack: Dh4,745 (includes Global Village Gold VIP pack + Dubai Parks and Resorts Ultimate Platinum Plus Annual Pass)
  • Mega Silver Pack: Dh3,245 (includes Global Village Silver VIP pack + Dubai Parks and Resorts Ultimate Platinum Annual Pass)

Classic VIP options return, with the Diamond VIP Pack priced at Dh7,350, Platinum Pack at Dh3,100, Gold Pack at Dh2,350, and Silver Pack at Dh1,750.

Operating Hours

On opening day, Global Village will operate from 6 PM to 12 AM. Regular hours for the season are:

  • Sunday to Wednesday: 4 PM to 12 AM
  • Thursday to Saturday and Public Holidays: 4 PM to 1 AM

Fireworks displays are scheduled for every Friday and Saturday at 9 PM.

New Attractions and Features

This season promises a host of new experiences, including:

  • Enhancements to the Railway Market, Floating Market, and Fiesta Street.
  • New green promenades for additional family seating.
  • A new Restaurant Plaza featuring a diverse array of cuisines, located near the Carnaval fun-fair area.
  • A stunning 3D projection in the exit dome of the Gate of the World.

For thrill-seekers, new rides and games will bring the total entertainment attractions to over 200. Notable new experiences include Secrets of the Lost City, a treasure hunt and mystery-solving adventure, and Exo City Planet, focusing on adventure and space exploration.

Additionally, over 40,000 performances and shows will take place across various venues, including the Main Stage and Kids’ Theatre, ensuring there’s something for everyone at this beloved winter destination.
