Starting November 1, Dubai residents and Emirati sponsors who have maintained a clean record with no residency violations over the past 10 years will benefit from special privileges, the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) announced on Tuesday.
The initiative, titled “Ideal Face,” aims to recognize individuals who adhere to UAE residency laws and embody the positive values of the community. According to GDRFA, these individuals demonstrate dedication to following residency regulations.
Key Benefits of the ‘Ideal Face’ Initiative:
- Priority call service when contacting the Amer Call Centre
- Dedicated service queue at Amer Centres to expedite assistance
- An ‘Ideal Face’ digital appreciation certificate
- Mobile service vehicle offering assistance to senior citizens at their residences
Eligibility for these benefits is limited to individuals rather than establishments, with the following criteria:
- Must be a UAE citizen or a foreign resident
- Must have resided in Dubai for at least 10 years
- Must be a sponsor of one or more individuals who have not committed any residency violations in the past 10 years
- The sponsor must have no recorded residency violations in the current year
Lt-Gen Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, director-general of GDRFA, emphasized the importance of security and safety in realizing the UAE’s vision for a happy and sustainable society. He noted that the “Ideal Face” initiative not only highlights compliant individuals but also encourages the community to adopt positive behaviors that contribute to stability and security.
GDRFA urged all citizens, residents, and visitors to join in the initiative by pledging their commitment to upholding UAE residency laws.
