UAE Flights Suspended or Rerouted Amid Regional Unrest

Several flights from UAE airlines have been suspended or rerouted due to ongoing unrest in the region.

Dubai-based carrier flydubai has cancelled flights to Jordan, Iran, Iraq, and Israel, with some flights also being diverted. A spokesperson confirmed that the airline is closely monitoring the situation and will adjust flight schedules as necessary. Customers are advised to contact flydubai’s customer service for rebooking or refund options.

Abu Dhabi’s Etihad Airways is also rerouting flights in response to airspace restrictions across parts of the Middle East. This may cause disruptions and delays over the next 48 hours. Passengers are encouraged to check their flight status on Etihad’s website.

Emirates Airlines has suspended flights to and from Baghdad and Tehran until October 30, with similar cancellations for flights to Beirut until October 31. Passengers transiting through Dubai to these destinations will not be accepted for travel until further notice.

Travelers should stay updated on flight statuses and safety advisories from their respective airlines.
