President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan warmly welcomed Sheikh Ahmad Fahad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of Kuwait, during their meeting at Qasr Al Shati.
Sheikh Ahmad Fahad Al-Ahmad conveyed the greetings of his brother, Emir of Kuwait, His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and extended his best wishes for the UAE’s continued progress and prosperity.
In response, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed expressed his greetings to His Highness the Emir of Kuwait and wished him good health, while also extending his best wishes for Kuwait and its people to enjoy further prosperity.
During their meeting, President Sheikh Mohamed and Sheikh Ahmad discussed the strong and enduring relations between the two countries. They explored opportunities to enhance these ties across various sectors, aligning with the shared aspirations of both nations for progress and prosperity. The leaders also emphasized the importance of fostering coordination and cooperation between the UAE and Kuwait.
Moreover, the two sides engaged in discussions on several regional and international matters of mutual interest.
The distinguished gathering included high-ranking officials, with the UAE delegation featuring His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of the Presidential Court, among others. The Kuwaiti delegation accompanying the Defense Minister was also present at the meeting.
