During Gitex Global, Dubai Police, in collaboration with e& UAE, unveiled a cutting-edge smart home security system designed to enhance residential safety. This innovative system detects unusual movements inside homes, aiming to transform residential areas into smart, secure environments.
Key features of the system include:
- Advanced Motion Detectors: These sensors can distinguish between routine activities and potential threats.
- Discreet Door/Window Sensors: Installed at entry points, these sensors alert a 24/7 monitoring center if unauthorized openings occur.
- Central Control Hub: A touchscreen hub allows users to manage all connected devices seamlessly.
Masood M Sharif Mahmood, CEO of e& UAE, emphasized the significance of this integration, stating, “For the first time in the UAE, we are integrating IoT-based home security systems with immediate police response to detected movements.”
The system employs state-of-the-art IoT sensors and surveillance cameras, all monitored continuously by e& UAE’s security centers. In case of suspicious activity, the system can link directly to a specialized operations room for prompt verification and response.
Customers will receive real-time alerts via a mobile app whenever movement is detected, allowing them to manage the system independently or connect it to the police’s specialized operations room for enhanced security.
e& UAE will handle all aspects of the system, including customer registration, installation, maintenance, and technical support, while Dubai Police will ensure effective integration for users opting for police monitoring.
