Dubai Approves AED 18.3 Billion Development Plan to Create Jobs, Parks, and Schools

Dubai, UAE — The Government of Dubai has approved a massive AED 18.3 billion development plan aimed at enhancing infrastructure, education, and community wellbeing across the emirate.

The ambitious plan will create 15,000 new jobs, develop 800 public parks, and provide 120,000 additional school seats to accommodate the emirate’s growing population. The initiative aligns with Dubai’s long-term vision to maintain its position as a global leader in quality of life, innovation, and sustainable urban growth.

According to officials, the project underscores Dubai’s strategy to invest in people and future-ready infrastructure while supporting private-sector partnerships that strengthen the city’s economy.

The development plan will also focus on upgrading transportation, healthcare, and recreational facilities. New parks and green zones will be distributed across key districts, providing more accessible open spaces for families and promoting environmental sustainability.

Education infrastructure will receive a significant boost, ensuring that the emirate’s expanding youth population has access to world-class schooling opportunities.

Economic analysts say the move is part of Dubai’s broader goal to diversify its economy, create sustainable jobs, and prepare for projected population growth over the next decade.
