Dubai Municipality has unveiled a city-wide competition titled “The Most Beautiful Sustainable Home Garden in Dubai”, giving residents a chance to showcase their creativity and commitment to eco-friendly living — with a grand prize of Dh300,000 up for grabs.
The initiative encourages homeowners and tenants to design gardens that combine aesthetic beauty with sustainability, using water-saving irrigation systems, native plants, and innovative recycling methods. It aims to promote green living, reduce carbon footprints, and inspire residents to contribute to Dubai’s long-term environmental goals.
Open to individuals and families across all neighborhoods, the contest will be judged on design, sustainability practices, innovation, and overall harmony with the natural environment. Finalists will have their gardens featured in public exhibitions and municipal awareness campaigns.
