During the International Defence Exhibition 2023 held in Istanbul, Black Cobra Military Supplies (BCMS), a prominent tactical gear manufacturer based in Abu Dhabi and a member of the Emirates Defence Companies Council (EDCC), joined hands with OSTIM Defense and Aerospace Cluster in Ankara (OSSA), Republic of Türkiye, to sign a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The MOU aims to create a platform for fostering growth and innovation in the defence and aerospace industries, driving advancements in technology, and enhancing cooperation between the two nations.
Under this MoU, BCMS and OSSA will work collaboratively to establish a comprehensive plan for mutual collaboration. The plan includes exploring joint business development opportunities, technology transfer initiatives, and strategic partnerships with Turkish SMEs. This strategic move aligns with the leadership’s vision in the United Arab Emirates to strengthen bilateral relations with the Republic of Türkiye.

The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding took place at the UAE pavilion under the auspices of the Emirates Defence Companies Council. The initiative and negotiations were led by the top management of Black Cobra Military Supplies, including Ali Al Mannaee, Chief Executive Officer, and Mostafa El Samahy, Managing Director, along with Ibrahim Yarsan, Chairman of the Board of OSTIM Defense and Aerospace Cluster in Ankara. This collaboration signifies a crucial step towards fostering cooperation and progress in the defence and aerospace sectors between the two nations.
