Dubai – Binghatti Holding, a prominent real estate developer based in Dubai, has announced a landmark acquisition of freehold land in Nad Al Sheba 1, marking the launch of its first large-scale master-planned residential community in the UAE. The development is projected to carry a total value exceeding Dh25 billion ($6.8 billion).
Spanning more than eight million square feet of gross floor area, the site is located in the heart of Dubai’s prestigious Meydan district — an area renowned for its equestrian heritage and proximity to the historic Nad Al Sheba Racecourse. The prime location offers excellent connectivity to major roads and key landmarks across the city.
Muhammad BinGhatti, Chair of Binghatti Holding, described the acquisition as a milestone in the company’s expansion strategy. “The acquisition of a mega plot for what is expected to be our first master-planned development marks a pivotal moment in Binghatti’s growth journey,” he said.
He added that the planned mega-project will leverage Binghatti’s vertically integrated development model, which has enabled the company to consistently deliver high-quality properties ahead of schedule. “Our solid financial foundation has allowed us to self-fund the acquisition of the land for what is expected to be a transformative project that will set a new benchmark for integrated living in Dubai,” BinGhatti said.
Binghatti currently holds a robust portfolio comprising approximately 20,000 units across 30 projects situated in some of Dubai’s most sought-after locations, including Downtown Dubai, Business Bay, Jumeirah Village Circle, Al Jaddaf, Dubai Science Park, Dubai Production City, and Sports City.
The developer is also known for its portfolio of branded luxury residences, created in collaboration with global brands such as Bugatti, Mercedes-Benz, and Jacob & Co.
The announcement comes amid a wave of upscale development in the Meydan district. In March 2025, AMIS Development, another Dubai-based real estate firm, commenced construction on Woodland Terraces, a Dh130 million luxury residential project in District 11 of Meydan.
With this latest acquisition, Binghatti aims to redefine urban living in Dubai, offering a new standard for integrated, community-focused developments.
