Dubai, March 2025 – Ukrainian adult performer Maria Kovalchuk remains in critical condition after being found bloodied and battered by the side of a road in Dubai. The 20-year-old was discovered 10 days after she was first reported missing, following her attendance at a controversial ‘Porta Potty’ party, where participants are allegedly paid to engage in degrading and sexual acts.
Dubai Police have confirmed that Kovalchuk sustained serious injuries after falling from a height at a restricted construction site. In a statement, police said:
“Dubai Police confirm that the Ukrainian citizen previously reported missing is currently hospitalised, receiving medical care with her family present. A comprehensive investigation has revealed that she sustained serious injuries after entering a restricted construction site alone and falling from a height. Dubai Police continue to work closely with the family and relevant authorities to provide all necessary assistance.”
Authorities have not yet clarified how Kovalchuk, after her reported fall, came to be found abandoned at the roadside.
A Mysterious Disappearance
Concerns arose when Kovalchuk failed to board her scheduled flight on March 11 and did not return phone calls from her family and friends. She had last spoken about meeting two men who claimed to be representatives of a modeling agency, raising fears she may have fallen victim to sex trafficking.
Her mother, Anna, expressed deep concern after losing contact with her daughter:
“There is an assumption that she went to a party. However, the promoter who organized these parties did not see her. Today, Masha was found in the hospital in serious condition. She has no documents, no phone, nothing. She has undergone three operations. And she cannot speak.”
Disturbing Allegations Surrounding ‘Porta Potty’ Parties
The term ‘Porta Potty’ parties refers to alleged gatherings where wealthy individuals pay large sums for others to engage in humiliating and extreme acts, including those involving human waste and fetishes. Social media reports have previously highlighted the disturbing nature of these events, which often involve young women being lured with promises of money and opportunity.
While police continue their investigation, authorities have urged the public and media to refrain from spreading unverified information and to respect the privacy of Kovalchuk and her family.
Kovalchuk remains under intensive medical care, having already undergone three surgeries. Her ability to communicate is currently limited, as family and officials seek answers about the events leading to her critical injuries.
