The Sharjah Charity International (SCI) has initiated the application process for the ninth mass wedding project, set to coincide with the country’s 52nd National Day celebrations. The initiative aims to support young individuals with limited income who are on the brink of embarking on their marital journey.
Ali Mohammed Al Rashdi, Chairman of the Higher Committee for the Mass Wedding Project, shared that the decision to organize the ninth edition of the mass wedding aligns with SCI’s strategic vision and the directives of the Board of Directors. The project seeks to foster a sense of loyalty and commitment among young people, encouraging their active engagement in serving the nation and contributing positively to societal development.
Al Rashdi emphasized that applications for the mass wedding project are exclusively accepted through the designated website, adhering to the set criteria approved by the higher committee overseeing the initiative. Following the closure of the application period, a comprehensive review of the submissions will identify the most deserving participants for the project.
Al Rashdi encouraged prospective couples who meet the specified criteria to seize the opportunity presented by this initiative, reinforcing their commitment to each other while receiving support to begin their matrimonial journey.
