The Research and Studies Department at the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Center for Heritage Revival is actively engaged in the 33rd session of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair. Organized by the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center, the fair is ongoing until May 5 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC).

The center’s participation aligns with its strategy to promote heritage and cultural initiatives that hold literary and intellectual value. These initiatives contribute to the preservation of Emirati popular heritage and national identity through various publications and programs.

At Hall 9 of the exhibition, visitors can explore a diverse range of cultural and heritage activities aimed at benefiting all segments of society. The center aims to bring the nation’s heritage closer to the public and provide access to the services offered by its national library, particularly its publications documenting the history and heritage of the United Arab Emirates.

Fatima Bin Hariz, Director of the Research and Studies Department, emphasized the significance of the exhibition as a platform for knowledge enhancement. She highlighted its role as a leading gathering for book and culture enthusiasts from around the world. The center is committed to fostering an environment that nurtures creative capabilities and preserves the national heritage and identity through innovative educational initiatives and programs.

Bin Hariz underscored the importance of cultural heritage in shaping national identity and fostering pride in Emirati culture, which continues to inspire creativity and make significant contributions to the national and international cultural landscape.

The center’s platform showcases its latest publications and historical documents documenting various periods in the UAE’s history. Additionally, a special corner is dedicated to providing information about “Dubai Wet,” an event hosted by the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Revival Center. The event, taking place at Al-Rimal Hall from July 27 to August 3, marks the center’s inaugural organization of such an event in the Emirate of Dubai.
