The Financial, Economic, and Industrial Affairs Committee of the Federal National Council convened virtually today under the leadership of His Excellency Saeed Rashid Al Abdi, Chairman of the Committee, to review its agenda focusing on analyzing the government’s strategies to bolster the knowledge-based economy.
Among the committee’s members are His Excellency Khalid Omar Al Kharji, serving as the rapporteur, Dr. Tariq Humaid Al Tayer, First Vice President of the Council, along with Aisha Rashid Laitem, Marwan Obaid Al Muhairi, Mona Khalifa Hammad, and Mira Sultan Al Suwaidi.
Simultaneously, the Social Affairs, Labour, Population, and Human Resources Committee, under the leadership of Her Excellency Maryam Majid bin Thaniah, Second Deputy Speaker of the Council and Chairperson of the Committee, convened virtually to outline its agenda, focusing on government policies aimed at enhancing workforce efficiency within the public sector and fostering citizen engagement in the educational realm.
Her Excellency Sheikha Saeed Al Kaabi serves as the rapporteur, with Ahmed Mir Hashem Khoury, Salem Rashid Al-Maftul, and Mona Rashid Tahnoun comprising the committee’s membership.
These discussions underscore the Federal National Council’s commitment to deliberating on key governmental initiatives crucial for advancing the nation’s economic and social development agendas.
