The Board of Directors of the Emirates Marine Sports Federation convened its inaugural meeting for the 2024 season, led by Sheikh Mohammed bin Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, the Federation’s President. The session, attended by various members, resulted in the adoption of crucial decisions aimed at organizing marine sports activities across relevant institutions. The Board emphasized the need to activate the Federation’s role to benefit members throughout the emirates.
Key decisions included plans to organize upcoming events and activities, focusing on enhancing the Federation’s influence to better serve its members nationwide. The Council also deliberated on proposals concerning the anticipated international participation of national teams in the near future.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan expressed gratitude to all members for their dedication to implementing the Union’s strategy and programs effectively. He highlighted the forthcoming period’s commitment to increased collaboration with marine clubs to optimize roles, deliver high-quality services to members, and create an environment conducive to discovering and nurturing talents, fostering champions, and supporting national teams.
Among those present at the meeting were Khalid Al Midfa, Vice Chairman of the Federation’s Board of Directors, Mohammed Abdullah Al Shamsi, Secretary General, and members Salem Al Rumaithi, Ahmed Al Hosani, Arif Al Harnaki, Maryam Al Hosani, Haitham Al Ali, and Jamal Al Janahi.
