Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO) has unveiled plans for the inaugural Middle East and North Africa Electric Vehicle Show (MENA EV Show 2023) set to take place on September 27th and 28th, 2023. This event is a collaboration between DSO and INOEX Global Events and will be hosted at the Radisson RED within DSO’s Dubai Digital Park.
Under the theme ‘Leading the EV Revolution in the Middle East and North Africa’, the MENA EV Show 2023 will bring together industry thought leaders, experts, policymakers, and innovators. The objective is to shape the future of mobility across the region by facilitating connections among all stakeholders in the global electric vehicle (EV) value chain, ranging from early-stage companies and investors to governments and established automakers.
Dr. Juma Al Matrooshi, Director General of DSO, emphasized the growing commitment of the UAE and the broader MENA region toward clean and sustainable technologies like EVs, which offer a fuel-efficient alternative. He stated, “This event serves as a platform to spotlight the substantial progress and evolution of the electric mobility landscape within the MENA region, providing a pivotal opportunity to shape the future of mobility in both the UAE and the wider MENA region.” Dr. Al Matrooshi also noted the alignment of this initiative with the UAE’s goal of achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050.
Over the course of two days, the conference will delve into critical topics influencing the future of mobility.
