According to data from the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, the Southern Africa region has experienced remarkable growth in the value of chamber members’ exports and re-exports during H1 2023. This key economic indicator has seen a year-on-year growth of 81%, totaling AED 477.2 million, up from AED 264 million in the corresponding period in 2022. As one of the six new nations set to join the BRICS bloc from the beginning of 2024, the UAE is poised to play a substantial role in reshaping the global economy to create a more level playing field for regions like Africa. The discussions at the Dubai Business Forum will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of trade and investment between the Middle East and Africa.
This transformational two-day forum, powered by Dubai Chambers, will serve as a platform for key public and private sector stakeholders from around the world to establish partnerships, foster international networks, and unlock a world of opportunities.
Dubai, a global leader in various industries, particularly in future-facing sectors, will host visionary Heads of State, government officials, global business leaders, and major international investors to redefine the rules of success. The event will bring together leaders from technology, retail, finance, travel and hospitality, real estate, and healthcare to engage in insightful discussions on the transformation of business for the future.
