In a ceremony marked by community spirit, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, underscored the significance of mass weddings in fostering social solidarity. The Crown Prince expressed these sentiments during his presence at the twenty-fifth mass wedding, organized under the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah. The event, held at the Double Tree Hotel in Fujairah, saw the union of “142” grooms from the local community.
The ceremony witnessed the attendance of prominent figures, including Sheikh Dr. Rashid bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Fujairah Culture and Media Authority, Sheikh Saif bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Fujairah Free Zone Authority, Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, and Sheikh Saeed bin Surur Al Sharqi.
The Crown Prince acknowledged the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, emphasizing the encouragement of youth participation in group weddings. This initiative aims to alleviate marriage expenses, instill concepts of solidarity, and strengthen cohesion among the nation’s people.
