DUBAI, United Arab Emirates – The Aster Guardians Global Nursing Award 2025, an initiative by Aster DM Healthcare, has extended its nomination deadline to March 9, 2025. This comes after an overwhelming response, with over 100,000 registrations from nurses across 200+ countries in the initial weeks—surpassing previous editions.
Now in its fourth year, the prestigious award continues to recognize and honor the invaluable contributions of nurses worldwide. Nurses can submit their nominations through the official platform: www.asterguardians.com.
Following two successful editions in Dubai and London, the 2024 award ceremony was held in Bengaluru, India, where Nurse Maria from the Philippines emerged as the winner. She has since launched the #BeOneMovement, a global initiative focused on lifesaving training and environmental stewardship.
Dr. Azad Moopen, Founder and Chairman of Aster DM Healthcare, emphasized the award’s significance:
“Nurses are the backbone of healthcare, providing unwavering care and compassion that shape patient outcomes. Their dedication is the foundation on which the healthcare system stands. The Aster Guardians Global Nursing Award is our way of recognizing and honoring these unsung heroes who work tirelessly to advance healthcare and change lives.”
The 2025 nominations are pouring in from the Middle East, the Indian subcontinent, Africa, the Americas, and Europe, reaffirming the award’s global reach and impact.
