Mohamed Alhammadi, a member of the UAE Paralympic Athletics Team, secured the silver medal in the final of the T34 800-meter race at the World Para Athletics Championships 2023 in Paris. The highly competitive event featured the world’s top eight wheelchair racers.
Finishing with an impressive time of 1:39.93 minutes, Alhammadi was just shy of a second away from claiming the gold. This marks Alhammadi’s second silver medal in the championships, following his earlier triumph in the T34 400-meter race.
