UAE Ambassador Presents Credentials to Italian President, Highlights Bilateral Cooperation

His Excellency Abdullah Ali Al Sabousi officially presented his credentials to His Excellency Sergio Mattarella, President of the Italian Republic, signifying his appointment as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates to Italy. The credential presentation took place during an official reception ceremony held at the Presidential Palace in Rome.

During the ceremony, His Excellency Al Sabousi conveyed warm greetings from His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister, and Head of the Presidential Cabinet. These messages included well-wishes for President Mattarella’s country and its people, expressing hopes for continued progress and prosperity.

In response, President Mattarella reciprocated the greetings and extended his wishes to the UAE leadership and its citizens. He conveyed hopes for the further development and prosperity of the UAE and expressed readiness to support the strengthening of bilateral relations.

President Mattarella wished Ambassador Al Sabousi success in his diplomatic responsibilities, emphasizing Italy’s commitment to providing support to facilitate the ambassador’s tasks.

Ambassador Al Sabousi expressed pride in representing the UAE in Italy and expressed his dedication to fostering and activating bilateral relations across various sectors. The meeting included a comprehensive review of existing cooperation between the UAE and Italy, with discussions on ways to enhance collaboration to achieve the mutual interests and aspirations of both nations and their people.
