Sharjah Police Desert Park Wraps Up Successful Fifth Edition

The Sharjah Police General Command has concluded the fifth edition of the “Desert Police Park” held in the Al-Kahif area in Al-Bataeh since January 19, under the theme “Together…time is more beautiful,” drawing an impressive turnout of 112,158 visitors. This marks a significant increase compared to the previous edition, which saw 87,000 attendees.

Lieutenant Colonel Majid Saeed Al Muhairi, Chairman of the Organizing Committee, noted a satisfaction rate of 93% among visitors, compared to 89% in the previous edition, with volunteers achieving a satisfaction rate of 95%. The event garnered broad participation from all segments of society, with 16 agencies and institutions from both Sharjah and other emirates contributing to the park’s success.

Al Muhairi attributed the park’s achievements to the keen interest and continuous support of His Excellency Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, the Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police. His direct involvement and guidance in organizing recreational, cultural, and community activities, along with emphasis on direct communication with visitors, contributed to high visitor satisfaction levels and strengthened familial and societal bonds.

Expressing gratitude to the organizing committee and volunteer teams for their efforts, Al Muhairi also commended the park’s partners for their crucial role in ensuring success. He highlighted the increase in the number of partners, which rose by 29% compared to the previous year, reaching a total of 22 partners.

The successful conclusion of the fifth edition of the Desert Police Park underscores its growing importance as a platform for fostering community engagement and cohesion, thanks to the collaborative efforts of all involved stakeholders.
