Rafal Majka displayed his impressive form after the Tour de France by claiming a thrilling uphill sprint win on stage 3 of the Tour de Pologne today.
The challenging stage, featuring more than 3,000 meters of elevation, saw Majka maintain his position with the leading group of favorites during the final climb from Wałbrzych to Duszniki-Zdrój (162.3km).
Teammate Joao Almeida also performed well, finishing in 9th place and currently holds the 3rd position in the overall standings, with race leader Matej Mohoric (Bahrain-Victorious) leading the pack.
UAE Team Emirates is leading the teams classification as they head into stage 4, covering a distance of 199.1km from Strzelin to Opole.
After securing the victory, Majka expressed his joy and dedicated the win to his teammates who played a crucial role in his success.
