On Sunday, March 3, the Make a Wish Foundation is set to host its flagship initiative, the “Wish Race,” at Yas Bay Waterfront, the prominent waterfront located on the southern shore of Yas Island.
Hani Al-Zubaidi, CEO of the Make a Wish Foundation, announced the event under the gracious patronage of Sheikha Sheikha bint Saif bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, the wife of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Advisor to the President of the State and Honorary President of the Make a Wish Foundation. The inaugural race is sponsored by Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank and organized by Gulf Multi Sport Company in collaboration with Miral Company, steadfast charitable partners dedicated to elevating the event and promoting the noble humanitarian goals of the foundation. The primary objective is to generate essential financial support to fulfill the wishes of children facing serious illnesses.
Al-Zubaidi noted that the Wish Race has evolved into a highly anticipated charitable entertainment event eagerly awaited by Abu Dhabi residents. The event has consistently drawn substantial public participation, reflecting the compassionate and caring nature of the people of the UAE.
