H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, welcomed Belinda Balluku, the Deputy Prime Minister of Albania and Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, in Abu Dhabi. During the meeting, the two leaders discussed the strong friendship between their countries and explored opportunities for enhancing cooperation across various domains, including trade, economic development, and knowledge sharing.
The discussions also centered on the results of H.H. Sheikh Abdullah’s working visit to Albania in April, emphasizing its role in advancing collaborative prospects in diverse sectors. Energy and climate cooperation were key topics, particularly given the UAE’s hosting of COP28 later this year in Expo City Dubai.
Both sides exchanged views on issues of mutual concern, reaffirming their commitment to deepening UAE-Albanian relations and fostering cooperation across various levels.
H.H. Sheikh Abdullah highlighted the importance of these relations and the UAE’s dedication to further developing them. Belinda Balluku expressed Albania’s desire to strengthen the bonds of friendship and collaboration with the UAE.
The meeting was attended by Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemy, the Minister of State for International Cooperation, and Mohamed Hassan Al Suwaidi, the Minister of Investment.
