Dubai, May 7, 2025 — Senior police officials, government decision-makers, and security technology experts from around the world are set to converge in Dubai this week for the World Police Summit, an international forum focused on the evolving challenges and innovations shaping modern policing.
Organised by Dubai Police, the summit will serve as a global platform for dialogue on key issues such as transnational crime, cyber threats, artificial intelligence in law enforcement, border security, and counterterrorism. The event is expected to draw delegates from more than 100 countries, including heads of national police forces, ministers of interior, and leaders from international policing bodies such as INTERPOL and Europol.
The multi-day event will feature panel discussions, workshops, and exhibitions showcasing cutting-edge law enforcement technologies, including predictive analytics, surveillance systems, and forensic advancements. A significant focus will also be placed on the role of public-private partnerships and inter-agency cooperation in addressing increasingly complex security threats.
Dubai Police Commander-in-Chief Lt. General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri said the summit underscores the UAE’s commitment to international collaboration in building safer communities and enhancing global security.
“The world faces rapidly evolving challenges in the field of public safety, and this summit is a unique opportunity for global leaders to come together to share knowledge, build partnerships, and explore innovative solutions,” he said.
The World Police Summit comes at a time when law enforcement agencies worldwide are navigating a complex landscape shaped by geopolitical instability, cyber warfare, and emerging technologies. Topics such as responsible use of AI, digital evidence handling, and safeguarding civil liberties in the age of surveillance are expected to feature prominently in discussions.
The summit is also expected to produce a series of policy recommendations and bilateral cooperation agreements aimed at strengthening global security frameworks.
