FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup in UAE Rescheduled to February 2024

The Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) has announced a change in the schedule for the FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup, originally slated for November 2023. The tournament will now take place in February 2024, as decided during FIFA’s 24th Council meeting. The decision was made to ensure the smooth progression of FIFA’s annual tournament calendar.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) had previously submitted its candidacy to host the prestigious event in February of last year. This will mark the second time that the UAE has been selected as the host nation for the Beach Soccer World Cup, with the previous edition taking place in Dubai back in 2009.

The rescheduling of the tournament aligns with FIFA’s commitment to maintaining a well-organized and uninterrupted sequence of its flagship events. By adjusting the dates, FIFA aims to provide optimal conditions for teams, players, and fans to experience the thrilling spectacle of beach soccer at its highest level.

Football enthusiasts and supporters of beach soccer can now look forward to February 2024 when the world’s best beach soccer nations will gather in the UAE to compete for the coveted FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup title.
