Emirates Launches New Wave of Luxury Upgrades for First Class Passengers

Dubai – Emirates has announced a suite of opulent upgrades to its First Class offering, including unlimited caviar, zero-gravity seating, enhanced in-flight amenities, and a revamped on-ground experience, reaffirming its status as the world’s leading provider of premium air travel.

The airline, which operates the largest international First Class network globally, offering 26,800 seats weekly, continues to raise the bar with unmatched privacy and luxury. All First Class seats are private suites, and the latest enhancements aim to create a fully immersive five-star travel experience at 40,000 feet.

Onboard, passengers can now enjoy unlimited caviar, served in elegantly crafted bowls by luxury cutlery designer Robert Welch. The upgraded gourmet service also includes a redesigned cheese board, featuring an array of artisan cheeses presented on rustic slate, accompanied by wooden honey dippers and gloved service from cabin crew. Dining continues to be on demand, allowing customers to enjoy à la carte meals at any time during long-haul flights. The menu features everything from gourmet vegan options to indulgent snacks such as Wagyu sliders, lobster rolls, and edamame.

In addition to fine dining, Emirates has introduced new seating options that include zero-gravity reclining on select aircraft. The Boeing 777 “Game Changer” aircraft features six private suites with floor-to-ceiling doors and seats that recline to a zero-gravity position, a setting designed to reduce pressure points and enhance sleep quality.

Each suite is designed as a private “hotel room in the sky,” complete with electronic privacy doors, personal climate and lighting controls, a work desk, a pull-out dining table, and ample space for leisure or productivity. Select aircraft are equipped with video call functionality, allowing passengers to order “room service” directly from their suite. Interior suites are fitted with virtual windows, while window seats include bespoke binoculars for an enhanced viewing experience.

Emirates has also refined its sleep and wellness offerings. Passengers are now provided with Hydra Active moisturising pyjamas, designed with microcapsule technology that slowly releases Vitamin C and olive oil to hydrate the skin during flight. These come with coordinated slippers and eye masks. Luxury amenity kits from Swedish skincare brand Byredo and Italian fashion house Bulgari include facial mists, sleep oils, shaving kits, dental essentials, and high-end fragrances. Bulgari’s exclusive collection features leather pouches and perfumes such as Le Gemme Orom and Le Gemme Tygar, tailored for women and men respectively.

Entertainment has also received a significant upgrade. First Class suites now feature 32-inch full HD LCD screens linked to Emirates’ award-winning ICE inflight entertainment system. The system offers over 6,500 channels of on-demand entertainment in more than 40 languages. Passengers also benefit from superior audio quality through Bowers & Wilkins E1 headphones, which include noise-cancelling technology and a luxurious sheepskin leather finish.

Aboard the A380, Emirates continues to offer its signature Shower Spas—the first of their kind in commercial aviation. These include heated flooring, full-length mirrors, a vanity area, sustainable Irish luxury Voya products, and fresh flowers to create a tranquil environment. Passengers also enjoy exclusive access to the Onboard Lounge on the upper deck, shared only with Business Class travelers.

On the ground, Emirates is revamping its First Class check-in area at Dubai International Airport’s Terminal 3. The redesigned space promises a personalised, high-end experience and a new luxury lounge expected to open in the coming weeks. First Class passengers have access to 43 premium lounges worldwide and complimentary chauffeur services in most destinations, ensuring a seamless journey from door to door.

Passengers are also entitled to a generous 50kg baggage allowance, with additional onboard storage that includes full-length wardrobes and space for handbags, shoes, or carry-ons.

Through these enhancements, Emirates continues to redefine the First Class experience by combining innovation, comfort, and luxury in every aspect of travel, solidifying its leadership in premium aviation.
