The week-long event, held from February 28 to March 3, showcased the latest developments in the yachting sector, fostering valuable agreements, partnerships, and discussions poised to shape the future of yachting globally.
Regarded as one of the world’s most influential boat exhibitions, the show played a pivotal role in advancing the global yachting sector. Dubai’s growing prominence as a leading destination for marine leisure tourism aligns with the event’s success.
Key highlights included significant deals, notably the Althouse Yacht Company’s largest sales, including a Lamborghini 63 yacht by Tecnomar Yachts. San Lorenzo Company sold three yachts, emphasizing the exhibition’s role in facilitating profitable sales and engaging with potential buyers.
National Gulf Craft achieved successful boat sales, featuring Msjiati yachts, the renowned Nomad yacht, and the Silvercraft and Silvercat brands. MTM Group marked its 18th participation with the sale of 10 jet skis.
Sunreef Yachts showcased two fully electric yachts, emphasizing energy efficiency and sustainable solutions. Azimut introduced the first fuel cell tested on a yacht, a hybrid yacht, low-emission yachts, and a partnership with Eni Life for decarbonization.
The 31st edition of the Dubai International Boat Show is confirmed to take place in Dubai Harbour in February 2025. Trixie Loh Mirmand, Executive Vice President of Events Management at the Dubai World Trade Centre, and Abdullah bin Habtoor, CEO of Portfolio Management at Shamal Holding Company (owner of Dubai Harbour), affirmed the long-term partnership for the global yachting community’s growth and success.
