Diverse International Volunteer Team Joins “UAE 2024” Beach Soccer World Cup

In a collaborative effort with the World Cup organizing committees, a group of 200 volunteers, comprising both males and females from 29 different nationalities, are actively participating in the “UAE 2024” Beach Soccer World Cup. Leveraging their extensive experience across various events, these volunteers have been strategically assigned to different departments within the organizing committees. Their roles encompass guest services, team services, transportation, crowd organization, permit center operations, competitions management, marketing, media, doping testing, as well as contributing to the opening and closing ceremony activities.

Arif Saleh Hassan, Deputy Director of Volunteers at the Beach Soccer World Cup “UAE 2024,” emphasized the strength of the Emirati volunteer experience, attributing it to the leadership’s belief in the significance of volunteer work. Acknowledging it as a crucial contributor to societal development and elevation of its stature, Hassan highlighted how volunteering reflects the commitment of the UAE’s residents to principles and values associated with national identity. The culture of volunteering is a fundamental component of the Emirati identity, playing a pivotal role in portraying the nation’s honorable image during various hosted events. Hassan expressed pride in the distinguished members of the Emirati community and residents leading in volunteer work, equipped with diverse skills and multilingual capabilities, ready to contribute to the tournament’s success and collaborate with organizing authorities for seamless task execution.
