His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, received a comprehensive briefing on upcoming infrastructure development projects in the emirate during a meeting with a delegation from the Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman.
Led by Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Head of the Department, the delegation included prominent figures such as His Excellency Abdul Rahman Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Director General of the Department, and His Excellency Marwan Al Ali, Director General of the Department of Finance. Also present were Dr. Engineer Mohammed Ahmed bin Omair Al Muhairi, Executive Director of the Infrastructure Development Sector, Engineer Abdullah Mustafa Al Marzouqi, Director of the Roads and Infrastructure Department, and several other engineers.
His Highness commended the dedicated efforts of the skilled professionals in the Municipality Department, emphasizing their commitment to enhancing the quality of life and happiness within the community. He inaugurated development projects aimed at elevating Ajman into an exemplary modern city that caters to a comfortable and prosperous life while attracting investors, tourists, and visitors.
Expressing his vision for Ajman’s future, His Highness stated, “We seek to make Ajman a distinguished emirate, and this goal is within reach as we progress on the right path, working collaboratively with government departments to streamline steps and stages towards regional and international excellence.”
Engineer Mohammed bin Omair provided detailed insights into projects designed to enhance living standards, boost the economy, increase investment, and promote both internal and external tourism. He highlighted a three-year development plan focused on main and internal road improvements, pedestrian bridge construction, and the expansion of rainwater drainage stations across Ajman, Masfoot, and Manama.
The Crown Prince of Ajman acknowledged the department’s commitment to achieving an integrated infrastructure that adheres to global standards, emphasizing the importance of advanced streets, bridges, and efficient rainwater drainage systems. He praised the meticulous planning, aligning with urban and traffic studies, approved statistics, and the strategic direction of the urban plan for Ajman.
Engineer Mohammed bin Omair outlined plans for establishing three rainwater drainage stations, ensuring collaboration with various stakeholders to utilize rainwater sustainably in agricultural and construction projects.
